| Our History |
In the spring of 2000, a group of faculty and
staff at Eureka College discovered they all
had a unique bond, the love of fine cigars.
They started getting together once a month
or so to unwind, talk a little work, and enjoy
their favorite cigars and spirits.
Over time, the group realized that their non
Eureka College friends also enjoyed cigars,
and they invited them to join these monthly
greetings. Thus, the Gentleman's Cigar
Society of Central Illinois was born.
Since than, the group has had several
people join. There is no membership fee,
only the requirement that you enjoy cigars,
and be a gentleman. However, we are a little
liberal in regards to the last part...we have to
be!
